The Programme

What FTC is

FTC challenges teams to solve a real engineering problem under a season deadline: design a robot, write its code, and run it head-to-head in two-and-a-half-minute alliance matches. Half of how you advance is robot performance on the field; the other half is judged — engineering portfolio, design process, and outreach. It rewards the whole team, not just the driver.

The 2026–27 season

FTC runs on a September-to-April calendar. Here's the shape of the BIOBUZZ season.
